Happy Birthday, Lucy!

Why do they have to grow up?  I'm hugging my baby extra tight this morning on her second birthday.  It's going by too quickly.  This amazing little dark headed surprise blessing has enriched our lives totally and completely!  She is the center of this family whom everyone adores!

Lucy is a smart, energetic, funny, independent, determined little girl that has enriched our family these last two years.  She's got potty training nailed.  She loves Yo Gabba Gabba, Sesame Street, "teacher" (her nursery teacher at church), Uncle Aary (Aaron), Mallie (Mallory), Mimi and Dad dad (Grammy and Grandad), and babies especially.

Thanks for coming to our family, little girl!  Happy birthday, Lucy!

Winter Wonderland

Last week we went to Winter Wonderland to visit our very special Santa.  As always, it was memorable.

Mallory's Lost Tooth

If you ask Mallory what she wants for Christmas she says an Innotab 2 and to lose three teeth.  I'm not sure what Santa has in store, but I don't know if those three teeth will come out before Christmas.  It hasn't been looking too promising.  This week, however, Miss Determination has been working her bottom two teeth like a mad woman.  While we were at Ross's last wrestling match tonight, she decided she was going to get it out when we got home.

(The poor little thing had a run-in with an exercise band handle last night that resulted in a swollen and bruised forehead and bridge of the nose.)

I wrapped the floss around her tooth, and before I could get my camera settings ready, she yanked it out!  I don't really think it hurt her as much as it surprised her!

Then when she asked to hold Mallory's tooth she tried to put it with her own teeth!

This girl!  Why?  Because she was a champ at potty training this week!  Goodbye diapers, and hello cute two-year-old-underwear-clad-bum!
